My husband Ron and I headed out to Red Bluff back in 2019 to see if we could find a great working dog at the annual Red Bluff Stock dog sale. When I first heard what these dogs had recently sold for at some of the previous year’s auctions, I about fell off my chair. My husband reminded me that one great dog could easily do the work of five guys. Jeff Clausen’s dog Drewsie has done all that and then some. We didn’t realize at the time how lucky we were to place the winning bid for this remarkable dog. She is truly something to behold. The way she moves to work cattle is equal to the same highly tuned natural instinct. intellect, ability and professional effort you would see in any of the world’s finest athletes. Just watching her work is awe inspiring. She is so much more than anything we could have hoped for. Besides being the hardest working dog on the ranch she is sweet as can be and we all love her to the moon and back. It has been a pleasure to know and work with Jeff, the most straight up, honest and talented guy in the business. He produces wonderful dogs and we are grateful and honored to know him.
