2023 Red Bluff Stock Dog Auction
We’re excited to announce that we’ve chosen our next dog to represent us at the 2023 Red Bluff Stock Dog Auction. We believe that Snickers has everything it takes to get the job done, but just like with any dog trained by Jeff, she’s just as comfortable at work as she is snuggled up on the couch with her family.
Even after getting a late start preparing for #redbluff2023 she has impressed everyone with her ability to take pressure while training. She keeps the cattle calm at all times even when things get intense and already has two perfect runs from her first trial ever!

Trained By Jeff Clausen
Jeff got started in the registered dog world in 2016 not realizing what he’d gotten himself into, but he’s loved every part of it from then until now. Even now, Jeff doesn’t consider himself a “Professional Dog Trainer”. He focuses less on large breeding programs and cranking out lots of dogs each year and instead focuses on pouring time and love into a few of his “best friends”.
Jeff also loves being able to include his boys in the training process. As a single dad with two boys there’s a lot that needs to be packed into a single day and there’s a dog along for the ride at every step of the way.
Jeff Clausen’s Cattle Dogs are a reflection of the care and love that he’s putting into his family, because ultimately each dog is just that…a member of the family. It’s not always easy for Jeff and his boys to send a dog to a new family. Especially after all the time and effort that they’ve given to each dog. Ultimately, knowing that the person who purchases one of THEIR dogs is not only getting a well trained farm hand, but a new member of the family makes the whole process worth it.
